Today’s Man Crush is a brand‑new obsession for me. I recently binged Fire Country and was promptly introduced to Kevin Alejandro — the impossibly handsome battalion chief of Station 42, Manuel “Manny” Remy Perez. One season in and I was already Googling his entire résumé like it was homework.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Kevin Michael Alejandro made his TV debut on Crossing Jordan and Las Vegas, and he’s basically been booked and busy ever since. He’s popped up on Charmed, The Young and the Restless, 24, JAG, CSI: New York, Without a Trace, CSI: Miami, NCIS, Ugly Betty, Sons of Anarchy, Burn Notice, Heroes, Melrose Place, Psych, Parenthood, Law & Order: SVU, Arrow, and Bones. If you turned on a TV anytime in the last twenty years, odds are Kevin Alejandro was there, looking good and solving problems.

He’s also had major runs as Detective Nate Moretta on Southland, Jesus Velazquez on True Blood, and Detective Daniel Espinoza on Lucifer. And because the Fire Country universe is expanding like the MCU, he’s even made a guest appearance on its spinoff, Sheriff Country.
