Man Crush Mondays Lou Ferrigno Jr.

Lou Ferrigno Jr. may be Hollywood royalty, but he’s spent most of his career carving out his own identity in the industry. Born on November 12, 1984, he’s built an impressively varied filmography, appearing across television, soap operas, and film. His credits include Days of Our Lives, How I Met Your Mother, Teen Wolf, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., NCIS, Nashville, The Young and the Restless, The Exes, Bones, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Rookie, Stargirl, and Outer Banks.

Man Crush Mondays Rafael L. Silva

Another week, another man crush. On our second Monday of April, I bring you the beautiful, the talented Rafael L. Silva. Born June 18, 1994, Rafael Luis Silva hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. At thirteen, he and his family moved to Harrison, New Jersey, where he eventually discovered acting.

Rafael’s filmography may be short, but it’s already memorable. He appeared on the political drama Madam Secretary, played Raul in the film Fluidity, and starred in the Netflix crime drama The Waterfront alongside Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, Jake Weary, and Melissa Benoist — think Dawson’s Creek, if Dawson’s Creek had a dark underbelly. Of course, his most iconic role to date is Austin PD officer–turned–Texas Ranger Carlos Reyes on the 9‑1‑1 spinoff 9‑1‑1: Lone Star.

Outside of acting, Rafael practices Brazilian jiu‑jitsu, dances, and speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He is also openly gay, something he’s spoken about with grace, pride, and sincerity.

Man Crush Mondays Michael B. Jordan

The name that’s been on everyone’s lips this past year is today’s Man Crush Monday. Michael B. Jordan — the “B” stands for Bakari — has had a whirlwind career in film and television stretching all the way back to 1999. Born on February 9, 1987, his first TV role was on The Sopranos. He went on to appear in The Wire, All My Children, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Bones, Friday Night Lights, Parenthood, House, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. His first credited film role was in Black and White, followed by Hardball, Red Tails, and Fantastic Four.

Michael is also a frequent collaborator with filmmaker Ryan Coogler, appearing in all of Coogler’s films — Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Sinners. In the latter, he took on the memorable dual role of the Smokestack Twins.

Man Crush Mondays Shawn Hatosy

This week’s Man Crush Monday is late, but he’s absolutely worth the wait. Back in March, I highlighted the Emmy‑winning lead of the HBO hit The Pitt — Noah Wyle. This week, I’m putting the spotlight on his co‑star. Born December 29, 1975, in Ijamsville, Maryland, actor and director Shawn Wayne Hatosy has built a 30‑plus‑year career across television and film.

If you came of age in the ’90s or early 2000s, you probably recognize him from his movie roles. Shawn appeared in the Kevin Kline comedy In & Out, the Robert Rodriguez sci‑fi horror The Faculty, the Denzel Washington thriller John Q., and the crime drama Alpha Dog. His television résumé is just as stacked, with roles in Law & Order, Six Feet Under, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, My Name Is Earl, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Southland, CSI: Miami, Hawaii Five‑0, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Longmire, Fear the Walking Dead, Bosch, Animal Kingdom, Chicago P.D., Fire Country, and of course, The Pitt.

Today’s Man Crush Monday is Mr. Fantastic himself. Born April 2, 1975, in Santiago, Chile, José Pedro Balmaceda Pascal is best known for his many unforgettable roles on both the big and small screens. The first time I ever saw Pedro was on the MTV anthology series Undressed back in 1999. Since then, he has appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NYPD Blue, Law & Order, The Good Wife, Nurse Jackie, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Homeland, The Mentalist, and Brothers & Sisters.

His breakout TV roles include Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones, Javier Peña on Narcos, the titular Mandalorian on The Mandalorian, and Joel Miller on The Last of Us. If you’ve seen the latest installment of the Knives Out series, chances are you’ve been charmed by its leading man. This week I’m back with a new man crush — and this one has one of the most beautiful faces I’ve seen in a long time. The first time I was introduced to him was in the M. Night Shyamalan–written/directed/produced mystery thriller Old, where he played the character Mid‑Sized Sedan. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m talking about Aaron Pierre.

Born June 7, 1994, in London, England, Aaron Pierre has quickly risen to fame thanks to standout roles in TV shows like Krypton, The Underground Railroad, The Morning Show, and the upcoming Lanterns. Man Crush Mondays Noah Wyle

If you were alive and breathing in the ’90s, you already know all about this week’s Man Crush Monday. On September 19, 1994, the world met third‑year medical student Dr. John Carter in the pilot of ER — and just like that, Noah Wyle became a household name. The Los Angeles native has been gracing both the big and small screen for nearly four decades, and honestly, he’s been booked, blessed, and busy the entire time. You may have caught him in films like A Few Good Men, Donnie Darko, and Enough.

Television, though, is where Noah really built his empire. He played the titular hero in The Librarian TV movies and the series that followed, transformed into Steve Jobs for Pirates of Silicon Valley, and led the charge as history professor‑turned‑resistance fighter Tom Mason in Falling Skies.
