Please clear something up for me. I am in the process of learning Spanish. I primarily speak with Mexicans and not people from Spain or Central America. How would you explain the sequence of noun and adjectives? Is the noun always first? Because I have noticed people doing it both ways.
The noun isn’t ALWAYS first, but it usually is.
When the adjective comes first, it tends to have a separate meaning or it’s very emphatic. It can be a stylistic choice, but it usually has a separate meaning.
But certain adjectives like ordinal numbers (first, second, third etc.), possessives (my, your, his/her, their etc.) and a few basic adjectives often come before the noun.
I’ll link you to the post I did on this a while ago and it has examples, so it might help.
