No pasa nada
The title reflects the concept of Spanish mentality:) No pasa nada, tranquilo (It is ok, do not worry, be calm). In this post I would like to tell how my love to Spain began. I was a normal child who went to regular school, liked to study and visited different extracurriculum activities. But in free time I was listening Spanish songs and was dreaming to learn this language despite the fact that I studied English and German. When I grow up I decided to obtain a Degree in Spanish Philology and then the adventures began. After 3 years of intensive studies I went to Spain as an exchange student. It was the first time I went abroad alone and for so long period. I was so excited and scared at the same time but now I can say that it was one of the best experiences in my life. I came back absolutely another person: with new ideas, dreams and goals (and obviously in love with my dear España). I passed 5 months in the picturesque city of Andalusia in the South of Spain – Granada.
With its incredible castle (Alhambra) and nice streets, mixture of Arabian and European culture (because during a long period it was under the ruling of Muslims), flamenco and gypsy spirit Granada has something special and it is forever in my heart.
Then was another part of Spain, so different and hot (in the literary sense of this word). Alicante – Mediterranean coast of Comunidad Valenciana (Valencia region) where I went as an Erasmus grantee.
Half a year of unforgettable Spanish life converted me in the ‘Ukrainian girl with Spanish heart’. And now after finishing my Master Degree I am going to another part of Spain – Northern Galicia, green and rainy Galicia. I will explore by myself to what extent it is different. See you in Vigo:)
