In addition to Mexico the list of top retirement destinations includes Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Colombia, Malaysia, Nicaragua, Portugal and Malta. Spain comes in as the 7th top retirement destination in the world. For those looking for a retirement destination in Europe the list only includes Spain, Portugal and Malta.
