I fucking love protective Daring though, especially with Argent. Aw wait just, Daring was the first person she told, and it was accidental, she was just leaned up against him while they watched a movie and made a comment or a joke, and when she realized Daring picked up the subtext, its just panic. Like "oh fuck its just here what if it goes bad" because Daring just seems like the guy to be "Im okay with it as long as it ain't in my family" but it just a full 180 like no honey

argent starts panicking and playing it off as a joke until he pulls her into a strong hug and tells her that he’ll do anything that she needs him for and that he’s there for her. they immediately go shopping for new clothes. she wasn’t expecting daring to actually be supportive, but she’s extremely grateful for her older himbo brother and younger lesbian cryptid sister
