This weekend I attended the One Life Church Ladies conference called Sparkle, which is an event that takes place annually and this year’s theme was ANCHORED. We had amazing guest speakers: Cindy Booth from Texas, Shannon Botha, Sophie F and Mark Wimble who are all from South Africa. All these speakers shared such powerful and encouraging testimonies.
What really stood out for me in summary was that we should be rooted in Christ and live a prophetic life style. That we should have our thoughts and emotions anchored in Christ, in all areas of our lives. To build a strong and firm foundation in the Word of God. Because what is your response when life threatens you or when an unexpected storm raises from nowhere? Where does your hope lie… you need to know your Anchor, don’t let your circumstances or what the world says about you stop God’s plan for your life. Get rid of “What ifs” change them to “EVEN IF”, that whatever happens I will still praise You O Lord, my eyes will be fixed onto You, because You are a GOOD Father. Don’t be surprised by the storm, because God said “Greater is he in Me than he is in the world” < 1 John 4:4 >. Therefore, never give up, but raise through it all, have this hope as an anchor for the soul firm and secure. < Hebrews 4:19 >
