Christmas shopping for myself (big surprise 🙃) I’ve always loved whimsical jewellery and when I saw this teeny, sparkly lipstick 💄 necklace-it had to be mine. There was some serious diamonds in this collection, but as a fan of Marilyn I find it interesting how different she was from her on screen image. As the woman who sang “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” she reportedly owned only the diamond ring Joe DiMaggio gave her. Ironic that there is a jewellery collection named after her, when in her personal life she didn’t wear it. Marilyn Monroe was the character. Norma Jean was the woman. With or without the bling she sparkled proving glamour is a state of mind not what you put on. 😉😎🌟
