53. What has been you worst haircut/style? ((Sorry, this question is silly enough to amuse me.))

I’ve only ever had one haircut so horrible I couldn’t stand it.

I was nine.

I’d stopped brushing my hair due to sensory issues, and wouldn’t let my mom do it.

Rather than listen to my actual problem--”the brush hurts”--and addressing that, she took me for a buzz cut.

We’re talking shorter than a pixie.

I looked like a boy. 

I’d been trying to grow my hair to my butt.

After that, I was prohibited from styling my own hair for a lot of years. I was also prohibited from cutting it more than an inch at a time (for split ends), but the damage was already done--it never got past my waist again. The year I started college, I shaved it all, partly for charity, partly as a giant fuck-you to my mother.

I ship it. I think they make an adorable couple..

I am in the mood for a contest. Soooooooo we will have two categories, fanfic writing and fanart/graphics. The fic or art you do can include any other characters you like, but must involve Zoisite from Sailor Moon as a main subject.

I’ll give you guys until September 30 to complete and submit your work to me and I will judge (with a little help from some friends on Discord if needed) by October 15. There will be one winner per category, who will receive a handmade Zoisite plushie, made by me. (If you are not comfortable giving out your address, let me know and a substitute virtual prize can be made.)

You may only enter one piece per category. Each submission must be your own work and must be kept SFW. Each category must receive at least 3 submissions in order to be judged, because it’s no fun winning by default of being the only one. Submit your entries to [email protected] to keep them all in one place. Please don’t publish your submissions anywhere else until the contest is done; it spoils the surprise!
