I had a meltdown last night. 🌟 I don't know what brought it on, but it was like all of a sudden, somebody flipped a switch within me and nothing was goof enough, I wasn't good enough, I couldn't do anything right. I was hard on myself, but my Husband just held me. 🌟 So this morning in the light of day, I asked myself "How can I sparkle ✨ on today?" I drew the 2 of Cups. Two Cups sit on two lily pads, the water around them calm and serene. This card is the emotional spark between two people, the love that follows. It is a card of possibilities. 🌟 This card celebrates the bond between two people and the union that they share with each other. It is the opportunity to create something new. This morning, I asked the cards "How can I embrace all of myself?" I drew the Strength card from The Naked Heart Tarot. 🌟 This card is all about self love and acceptance. This morning, I asked the cards "What do I focus on today?" I drew The Empress from the Shadowland Tarot. She is a dryad, literally made from the Earth. As such, she is the Earth Mother. She provides a home to all those in the forest. She is also the symbol of birth, life, death and rebirth. She also symbolizes the birth of creative ideas and the joy that they can bring. 🌈 From this card, I'm moved to think on the earth itself. It's in a cycle of rebirth, regeneration and regrowth. Though this is a bizarre time full of uncertainty, it is also a time where the earth is coming alive again and I can take comfort from that. The Empress is holding out her arms to me and embracing me in a hug to give me comfort. 🌈 She is urging me to look within too. To really delve deep and find the seeds of creativity that have been planted. She wants me to put them on the page or the canvass so that they can be free. This is encouraging as I'm almost done the first draft of my work in progress.
