First Post

As I think about what to write for my first tumblr post, I get some hint of nostalgia. When I was a teenager, I used to have a Xanga. It was THE place to be online at the time. People would write their thoughts, make their webpage pretty, add music, and make it their own. Doing this again as an adult makes me excited since this can be my outlet for creative expression and random musings.

Spark on Mama

As a mom to a toddler and getting ready to welcome my 2nd baby to the world in a few weeks, I realize it is important to seek out that spark that will ground, calm, and lighten up the inner child in me. It is so easy to just go along with the busyness of life and responsibilities. This blog is my attempt to do some self-reflection and self-care. If other mama's happen to find this blog and relates to it, then I hope it made them smile even just a little!
