That hoverboard is "real", but it is also useless crap. It's just a magnet that only works on metal floors, and only last for a few minutes because it need CRAPLOADS of power. There ARE a few ideas for hoverboards that would work on any surface, but the weight of the battery alone would hold the thing down. Hoverboards will only be feasible once room-temperature superconductors become a thing. (Imagine a button cell battery that can power a city) But you have to charge it first, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
