here's is what I believe is going to happen in eps 8 & 9

disclaimer: these are my thoughts about upcoming episodes of spartacus. it's just what I think, based on promos, episode stills, and a bit of spoilers stuff here and there. this may not happen or only some of it or all of it. so proceed at the risk of being spoiled and/or disappointed if my thoughts don't come true!

The mission doesn't go as planned. A lot die. I believe Crixus dies here, judging by a few promo stills I've seen -- or at least gets gravely wounded. Agron and possibly others are captured. This will be a cliffhanger. 

Episode 9 -- Spartacus and party rescue Agron (possibly others) from being crucified. They also capture Romans and force them to fight each other, given history and promo stills of Gannicus in an arena like setting fighting some raggedy Roman soldiers

I don't know for sure if the Roman fights will happen this episode of in Episode 10. 

Sadly, this doesn't mean that Agron or Nasir don't die, because they're seen in battle scenes with Castus, most likely set after Agron's capture and rescue, judging by the bruises and cuts.

Yes, I do believe Sibyl has a good chance of surviving as well. And I can picture that scenario with Naevia's baby!

So, there's theory, which I subscribe to, that Nasir is Spartacus' success story, dare I say favorite, etc. So I had a thought about how that will play out, but I'm 99% certain it won't go like this:

Spartacus' mortally injured during the last big battle. Agron and Nasir are by his side. He commands them to flee. They refuse, obviously. Then Spartacus says something like, "something good has to come from this," and looks at Nasir. He's the good thing to come from the rebellion. Spartacus is fine with the end he meets because he made a difference in at least one slave/former slave's life. Spartacus looks at Agron and says, "don't let them get him. take him far away from the republic and those who would seek to enslave him again."

There's reluctance, some resistance on Nasir's part, but Agron pulls him away and that's how they survive. The Romans have Spartacus, and their distraction with that give Agron and Nasir and whoever may yet live a chance to get away. 

And that's the bittersweet ending DeKnight was talking about!

Again, there are holes in this and most likely won't happen like that, but it'd make for a good ending, and there's always something to write fanfic!

I know, I know, I should be doing schoolwork bad me but I had one thought I needed to get out because it was distracting me:

In the previews for next week, Laeta is bound and gagged, getting a bag put over her head. And I have a theory about it.

I think Crassus is going to seize her for helping Spartacus. He mentioned in last night when Laeta was explaining what happened, something along the lines of how could you help the villain who killed your husband, yada yada. 

When Spartacus comes to rescue Agron, I think he'll see this and help Laeta as well, and that's how she's back with the rebels in the promos. *coughSPARTYSEXcough*

I don't think Crassus is going to care that she was forced. I mean, look at the Romans he sacrificed in episode one to gain command, look at how he sent Caesar in to gain trust by attacking Romans he sent in as well. 

Crassus, I believe, is going to see this as traitorous because he believes Spartacus should fall, no matter how many Roman lives are to be sacrificed. 

What are you thoughts about this?

Why would sparty go against Agron?! OMGAWH WAH HWAH There's a high possibility that they will kill Agron huh? Darn.

No! No, no, no, that’s not what the anon was referring to. I believe anon was talking about Sparty rescuing Agron if/when he’s captured by the Roman in next week’s episode, as he did when Crixus was captured and sentenced to death in the arena.

Yes! And my guess is the first will be Donar on epis 6 T_T b/c Ceaser will need come back to Crassus at some point & Things will get messy when that happen.

There's the part in the promo where Agron, Donar, and Saxa are fighting Caesar, could that be in this week's episode? While Spartacus is away? Than Donar (and possibly others) will be captured and than next week's episode will be Donar's end (speculation due to promos with him in the background of Tiberius and Romans)
