Dear #spdracerx..
I've applied for 3 separate jobs at the ARC in Hagerstown and the interviews were going nicely and for the first time in a long time.. I felt pretty damn confident that I would get one of the posted positions..
Until they asked me if I knew anyone who worked at ARC.. and that's when I mentioned your name..
At which point the interview ended and I was unceremoniously escorted to the door..
I'd ask you to put in a good word for me..
I may be stupid a whole lot of times.. but.. I'm only stupid each time just once..

I don’t see any stickers that say “alumni.” I’m willing to bet they didn’t actually go to Duke; they simply like the basketball team because they win a lot. (I’m saying that as an alum of a different ACC school in NC whose team doesn’t win as much.)
You may be right - I am also an alum of a different ACC school (but in VA) whose team doesn't win as much, so maybe I'm bitter, too. Of course, I'd still be paying off student loans if I had attended Duke instead of UVA, so maybe I'm not ALL that bitter :-)

People certainly have the right to put whatever they want on their car. I thought this was a little extreme and I poked fun at it. I have family and friends who went to Duke and I thought I'd give them a hard time. Sorry if it offended you - that was entirely not the intent of my post.
