I have a lot of thoughts on “Das Boot” (2018) and not all of them are negative but my biggest criticism of the whole entire show is that the dialouge was inaudible like 78% of the time.
whoever sent that anon literally what brought that on ???????? I wasn’t gna give this a second thought but
You knew what you were getting into!
In arguments, people say this a lot. Its like, because you originally said "YES", that means you can never say "NO" later on.
well, FUCK THAT!
My response to such an argument is this:
"Well NOW, I'm getting out!"
I THINK its normal/human/natural for someone to change their mind especially after you have time to reflect or after experience has shown you made a bad decision.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO stay in an abusive relationship, a shitty job, a crappy apartment, a horrible movie, on a scary date, attend a stupid college class, stand in an ass backward slow grocery check-out line, join a cult, use a nasty public bathroom stall, etc.-- IF YOU DON'T WANT TO.
And guess what.....sometimes you DON'T KNOW what you're getting into. Sometimes its just a leap of faith, a fucking guess, wishful thinking or a poor choice. Hell, it could be a result of eenie meenie miney mo.
IT'S OKAY TO SAY NO EVEN AFTER YOU SAID YES. Anybody who's disappointed will just have to suck it up & deal with it. I am so damn tired of feeling ashamed, anxious, worried or embarrassed for saying how I feel and expressing what I want or need.
(others) "You didn't say that last night."
(Me) "Well I'm saying it now."
Nah, didn't want to be cliché and post "firework", besides I like this video better! Happy 4th of July
