      This was a bad idea. This was a really bad idea... what if they were being too annoying? But, Napstablook ended up making way too much bread, and they knew that even they couldn’t finish it all...

     Because it was too much food, they wanted to... try and be a good neighbor and maybe give out some of this extra food, especially since it was fresh and everything...

     But their anxiety ran rampant. What if their neighbors don’t like bread? What if Napstablook’s presence bothered them? And does Undyne even know that I’m a robot now...? I haven’t visited my neighbors in ages...

     Napstablook gulped. They were already in front of her house, though, so... here goes nothing.

        knock knock knock - !

    “u-um... h...h-hello...? i-is--- anyone home?”

        -- and the very moment they knocked, they freaked out, cowered, and decided maybe they should just drown in their thirty-six loaves of bread after all.

     “w-wait. n-nevermind. s-sorry, sorry for bothering, u-um, i’m... g-gonna... ohhhh...”

yellow eyes widen at the sight of the human's sleek metal tool. sharp teeth are exposed with a crooked grin; she's gotta respect a fellow chef. " nice pan, punk!! how about you cook us up a last meal? " undyne follows with a cackle, impressed to have been able to come up with that one on the spot. no rehearsed monologue here! and hey, she wouldn't turn down a hot meal if it was offered...

“One last supper, coming in hot!” Rusty struggles with lighting the fire for a good minute–why was everything so damp in Waterfall?! But, he got it going, no biggie. Rusty goes as accordingly, starting to make some bacon and five cheese macaroni. The more time he had to cook something, the longer he had to think up a way to get the hell out of there without making the royal guard’s captain more pissed, getting killed, or getting her killed. 

Rusty was tired of all the death…

Such a burden, trying to search for hope–even if Rusty gave up his soul, they would still be trapped for longer, if he fled and made sure he reached the surface, the Underground would surely lose hope. He couldn’t find a right answer, one that could bring them all hope, one that would bring them peace–perhaps he was born too soon, or even a little too late.

"Order up!" Rusty smiles, and sits on the ground--so what if he was risk his life? He wanted to see this fish's reaction to his cooking, more than he wanted to run away!

“ Special discount on Nice Cream today! It’s only 10 G if you tell me a funny joke! ” That desperate for interaction, huh Nickie? Of course, it wasn’t uncommon for the rabbit monster to use his business as a way to get in some much needed conversation, but surely it would be just as effective to simply talk to other monsters. But he couldn’t do that! He also had to work, so this seemed like the best way to kill two birds with one stone.

“ Or talk to me at all! That works too! Imma be honest, it’s been really slow today and you’re the first person to come by. ” In a way, his words reeked of desperation, but he certainly didn’t seem to trying to hide that fact either. 

“ Of course if you’re busy or something, I won’t hold it against ya. I know how it can having to rush around all over the place. ”
