hi spec!! so the come on home sequel has very little plot, very little angst...... it's really just an excuse for me to write happy zuko and sokka having a nice summer together (i mean there might be a little angst because i'm physically incapable of writing pure fluff but it's not relationship angst; it's much more about them both having just graduated and feeling a little like ??? what are we supposed to do with our lives now??)

i have so little written for this one that i'm not going to share a snippet, BUT i will say the bulk of it will take place in new jersey and i'm very excited about that because i will simply be waxing poetic about how much i love the new jersey shore <3 like zuko and sokka hanging on the beach together........ zuko and sokka watching the sunset........... zuko and sokka walking hand in hand down the boardwalk................. yeah <3

1. who initiated the relationship, and how did it go?

it’s my personal headcanon that zuko confesses first because it’s this thing inside him that is so full of love he can’t let it stay there so he has to say it and i think it would be a little disastrous because he wouldn’t know how to say it but sokka gets him and sokka knows him and he understands so technically zuko initiated their relationship and it was terrible and didn’t go to plan (because he didn’t even think of a proper plan) but they got it in the end <3

7. what are their fav things to do together?

i think just kind of sitting like zuko reading some ridiculous dramatic love story and sokka with his head in his lap reading a lame science book, i like the idea of their fav things to do together being mundane and simple BUT i also think their like totes fav thing to do together would be judging people while in a cafe/grocery shopping/anywhere like totally making up stories for people and judging them for their outfits cause they’re both v mean <3

i think mai actually i mean she is so full of love and she knows who she loves it’s just a matter of expressing things but yeah mai felt romantic feelings for years and ty lee only realized her feelings once she’d left for the circus and she’d spend nights clenching her fists and hoping and pretending that mai was holding her and that she wasn’t gone and and

i don’t see them getting married tbh but if they did i think it would be ty lee but not an elaborate proposal something more tender in bed where she just goes ‘i want to marry you’
