Karma had to lie on her back, the bullet wound wasn’t a through and through but being shirtless made everything cold. No doubt the nurse could see her rather large tattoo on her back, a giant dragon fighting an Oni. “It represents my struggles and how I use them to my advantage.” Karma spoke to distract herself from the pain “The dragon being my strength, the demon being my flaws. They both are always in conflict, but when I control them, use them, I become unstoppable...” Except for a bullet wound to the back after a drug trade had went south.

She rested her head on the pillow that was provided for her, glad that she wasn’t found with any of the drugs on her, she would have been likely to be put away after questioning, but now she would be able to go home when they got the bullet out. “You must see a lot of tattoo’s like mine in your line of work, huh?”

nudges her "hey, once your done. Wanna go for drinks?"

Nudged, grins softly and nods. And look at that! She’s done! Quickly having finished her papers, pushes them back and links arms. Simple sign. ‘Same place?’

Karma couldn’t help a smile. “Trying to get into a knights heart with flowers?” It was her favorite gift but she wasn’t about to tell the thief that. “Or are you about to tell me some bad news and trying to get on my good side?”

She’s not quite writing her report when Frost passes by. Just finishing sorting papers when the hand touches her shoulder. Ponytail swishes with the graceful turn of her head up towards her company, the device calling out to her back.

“Appreciated as always. You were good as well.”

On a whim, the woman rises, file tucked and close beneath her arm. She hurries after the blond, bumping shoulders with her. “Have you eaten yet? Perhaps...we could do lunch?”

“Am I bothering you?” Is the voice communicated in a soft tone, moving her head up to rest on the others shoulder. It didn’t look like it was fun, emerald gaze scanning curiously over the paper currently face up.

Karma wasn’t always so confident or out going as she portrays herself. Sometimes she got into very depressive phases that lasted a couple hours. It sucked being alone at times but when Frost came through the window to visit Karma instantly wrapped arms around the other girl in a tight and desperate hug.
