3. favorite tv shows to watch this year

this was the year that i finally got around to watching ted lasso, and i'm so glad that i did. it was so fun and emotional, and i think it'll be one of those shows i keep on in the background now and then. it also feels right to mention star trek lower decks since it ended recently, and i already miss it </3

12. favorite main character of the year

i can think of a few but i think i have to say peter quill bc i breezed through so many comics this year just for him. some of them were better than others, but that comes with being a comic fan in general sometimes. this year i read a lot of comics in general, so i guess some honorable mentions would be moon knight, daredevil, and jessica jones.

18. fandom that you never expected to get into

earlier this year, in like january, i joked about if i accidentally got into transformers, and then i watched transformers one last month and it happened for real. self fulfilling prophecy. i fully expected that joke to go nowhere and yet here we are. movie so good that it changed my brain chemistry.

5. Favorite song, album, or artist to listen to this year

hmmm honestly? gonna have to go with imagine dragons what with the new album that's just banger after banger and then i got to see then in concert (finally!) for the first time and it was SUCH an amazing show I'm pretty sure I actually?? prefer them live??

HOWEVER sabrina carpenter quickly climbed into my Spotify wrapped this year as like my..? one of my top artists and songs so. short n sweet my beloved.

9. Best new fandom discovery of the year

I'm gonna have to go with my lady jane 🫶 ugh fuck it's such a good show it's like a blend of my favorite kinds of tropes and stuff (shout out lust at first sight to enemies to arranged marriage to friends to lovers) AND it's historical fantasy fiction type shit??? truly delicious. ate it up. #savemyladyjane

19. Fandom that made an unexpected comeback

gonna have to be x-men 🙂‍↕️ I don't even remember how we started on that..? but actually sat down and watched the og x movies and then the newer ones and came to the conclusion that logan howlett holds 80% of my attention so the movies he's not in are.... like they're not bad or anything I'm just keenly aware there's no wolvie 💔

but watched all the wolverine movies again 😌 one of the best decisions I've made all year
