NEAR INFRARED- HYPER SPECTRAL IMAGING APPLICATIONS IN FISHERIES | UTTAR PRADESH JOURNAL OF ZOOLOGY
Hyperspectral imaging is gaining popularity in aquaculture, mostly for food quality monitoring. Hyperspectral imaging generates a spatial map of spectral variation by combining both spectroscopic and imaging techniques in one device. In aquaculture, hyperspectral imaging can be utilised to detect food fraud, surumi evaluation, colour distribution, and disease identification in fillets, among other things.
