Listening to the little voices in his head, Spectral decided to let his curiosity win and headed down the red path. He soon entered a large cavern with a pit in the middle. From this pit came the glowing red light he had been seeing. Peering over the edge to try and get a better look, the light began to grow. It quickly overwhelmed Spectral and his body began to feel tingly. Panicking, he suddenly realized his curiosity may have gotten him killed! 

The tingling continued to spread across Spectral’s body. He could feel things changing, moving, and growing. Panic overtook him and he struggled to move, but the sheer pain kept him locked in place as unknown things began happening to his body. 

The tingling and the pain slowly faded. Spectral blinked, letting his eyes re-adjust to the suddenly dark cavern. A soft voice filled his head, starling him "it's alright my child, you've been given a power. There is darkness approaching, and you've been chosen as our guardian. Your power of light has now been complimented with the power of shadows. Use it wisely." Then the voice was gone.

Spectral gathered his courage and entered the dark cave, not knowing what to expect. After a ways of walking down the main path it suddenly split into 2 paths. Down one he could see the soft white glow he had seen earlier. The other cave looked more menacing, with jagged rocks that looked like teeth, and a faint red glow.

His curiosity made him want to see what was down the red path, while his caution told him to take the safer looking path.

Which path should he go down?
