I'm watching Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu right now, and the scene where Imran dances to the KKHH song came on. I can only think of Aman when I see Imran in that scene and can totally see Aman doing that hahaha. You have ruined me, Hannah!

A lot of people think that Alia Bhatt is overrated and childish and that she needs to grow up before she does any more films? What's your opinion on that since I assume you like her because she's the FC for Ari?
I think... Okay, honestly, I think everyone's seeing her as the "new Kareena" and taking that title really seriously. After Kareena did really well as Pooja in K3G, everyone said Kareena was really a spoiled brat like her character and that's why she played her so well (despite her doing so well in other films like Refugee and Chameli before). Not that doing that makes any sense.
I think people are doing the same with Alia. She played Shanaya in SOTY fairly well (let's be real, it wasn't the hardest character to play) but because she was so convincing, and everyone is so desperate to name her the new Kareena, I think she's getting the same treatment from the media?
I don't think she's perfect, but I think she's a promising actress. She seems to be improving with every film. Even in the short months between the release of Highway (which was a brave film choice to make) and 2 States (not her fault Chetan Bhagat is nowhere near a good a writer as he thinks), she grew a lot as an actress.
I do like her. I think her being the "face" of Ari has made me like her more - I certainly focus on her more because of Zarina's character - and she seems fairly... Real? Yes, I know she's mocked for being a ditz, but there's something real about her that I don't really feel from a lot of other actresses that I like.
Sorry for the essay reply.
Oh gotcha. I'm from the United States, and I'm also wanting to go to med school. And I know how hard it would be to go into any medical school with an Arts degree. Maybe it's different there but here you have to take a certain number of science classes, and there's no way to pull that off with an English degree. You have to take a ton of science classes to take the MCAT, and with an English degree, that's a lot of extra work. But I don't know how it works in England, so props to you regardless!
Yeah, you have to get a 2:1 or a 1st overall and then your first year is three years condensed into one, it's not an easy ride :/
Here, they advise you to not prepare for the BMAT, but obviously you have to do well to get to the interviewing stage. Thank you!
You're wanting to go to med school? I thought you were getting an English degree and wanted to do something in journalism!
Weellll
Long story short, when I was about 4, I decided I wanted to be a brain surgeon. That lasted until I was 16 and the pressure of living up to it really squished my passion for it, so I went with something I didn't want to regret not doing - English. And I'm loving it.
But now it's more about me doing medicine or English and not everyone else pushing their expectations, I have a rekindled interest. I want to do it because it sounds fun, if that makes sense? It's not about being Asian or whatever, it's just something I want to do because I've been in hospital and at the mercy of grumpy doctors so many times.
So yeah :) I'm doing a lot of writing stuff anyway on the side, so I'll keep my options super open!
I was torn between Hose and Reddie, but I think Reddie always held a special place in my heart, ya know? Eddie just understood Rose in a way that I don't think Harry did, and he wasn't a part of the whole Ryan-Liam-Harry mess/drama. He gave her stability. His death pretty much broke me :(
Ahh, I see. I'm sorry :( I'm not sorry mwahahaha
Just the amount of adoration and respect and understanding he has towards her. And I loved his reaction to Soph being pregnant, whereas Zayn just freaked out. Aman calmed Soph down and gave her strength and courage, the two things Zayn seemed to take away from her. I don't know, that drabble just sold them to me haha :)
Haha, Aman's obsessive Googling is a thing he does. But I'm glad you're on board! Did you ship Hose or Reddie before?
That Sam drabble! I was always kinda unsure about Sam but that just sold me.. Aman is just perfect and HE IS THE CUTEST FATHER EVER! And Dany is the most precious kid ever! Excited for the next update :)
Haha, really? What sold it?!
So glad you liked it! And the update is coming soon :)
I'm not a Muslim, and I've read several opinions on wearing a hijab because of pure curiosity. And I have to say that your opinion is by far the most beautiful and the one that makes the most amount of sense to me. I applaud you, my friend, I applaud you
Thank you, dude. It's really easy to feel inadequate when your opinion is so different to that of popular opinion, so thanks for your support, it means a lot :)
