speculoos has a lot going on with it, containing a rich variety of spices and enough sugar to be almost painfully sweet. it is brittle but hard to break. also very dutch

fromage blanc is classic, but fresh and new. it is versatile and palatable, and holds so much possibilities, but often ignored in favor of more famous cheeses or more well-known soft dairy

each brings out the sweetness of each other, seeming to shy from the spotlight at first but actually fighting for the aftertaste

crumble speculoos over fromage blanc and add chocolate shavings, almonds, and a jam of your choice. enjoy alongside genever or a sweet red wine
