Last gymkhana of the season. We ended up taking third! It was our first ribbon together. I am very proud of us. Next is Cowboy Days at empty saddle club in Rolling Hills Estates (palos verdes) California. If you live in or near the area, you should come check it out! It'll be a lot of fun!!! *really emotional time sitting with a horse who’s being put down soon*

Horse: *tries to push me*

Me: I love you but if you try that again ima make you back your butt up

Me:*playing with her and getting her to move around*

Mini: this is fun I like this

Me:ok let’s come back down now good mare

Mini: ok calm time I got this

Bee: hello human mind if I start getting way to fucking close to you

Me:*shoos be away*

Bee: I AM NOW DETERMINED TO LAND ON YOU

Me:*starts flailing around trying to swat the bee and get it to leave*

Mini:OH MORE RUNNING AROUND OK!

Bee:SURRENDER HUMAN

Me:*flailing wildly*

Security camera:*probably catching all of this*

Barn owner:*looking at my sisters lease pony* just to let you know he was being a little snot for my kids recently

Me:Ohhhhhhh your gonna get your butt whooped

Sister: *eyeing him* oh he KNOWS not to pull that stuff with me

Pony: *tries to act innocent*

Horse: oh boi a human! *walks straight up to me*

Me: you do realize I can’t take photos of you like this right?

Other horses: OH HUMANS HERE????? *everyone begins to surround me*

Me:... I love you guys but Why are you like this?

Me:*lets horse loose in arena after bareback ride*

Horse:*tries to keep following*

Me:we’re done go roll

Horse:*goes off to roll* *looks at me* *rolls again* *repeats till I ask him if he’s done

Me: we're just going to walk today and get you more used to the surroundings

Horse: you mean run?

Me: No, just walking

Horse: trot faster!!!

Me: okay if you want to trot let's trot, do you like circles?

Horse: don't like the circles let's walk

Me: no we're trotting now it was your idea remember.

Horse: okay fine...

Me: good.

Horse: WAIT OH MY GOD WHAT WAS THAT??? *Bolts off sideways* Me: NOTHING YOU BIG IDIOT IT WAS THE SAND BEING KICKED UP BY YOU!!!! That's why I just wanted to walk for a bit Horse: oh... WAIT WHAT WAS THAT!!! me: the wind. Just the wind in the vents. horse: oh! Okay let's walk so I can snort at litteraly everything instead! Me: great idea 🙄
