Some YouTube videos are so poorly paced that not even 2x speed can save them.
#speed watching#2x speed#i only watch at 2x speed for 2 reasons:#1) i need the information and the lack of written material on this subject prevents me from skimming#2) the topic is interesting but the delivery is SO POORLY PACED that it's literally painful to watch#the pacing thing is a big deal#a lot of it is about pacing#there are 58-minute videos that i'm happy to watch at normal speed#and then 58-second videos that need 2x speed#it's all about pacing#not length#and it's why i hate the shorts/reels/tiktok format#because you can't alter the speed of the videos if needed
