A couple of years ago, Orca Flotta did a series of races which was all about  sailing as fast as you can. We used specially prepared sailboats for it, as well as regular stock boats.I never knew what the maximum speed was at those races, but I doubt it was as much as I just managed today with my Flying Fizz, just the regular 3.0 8. It went flying of course. ;-)
