Made this with the 2D Blender rig (for Ashley, Dia is tweened in Davinci cus I'm lazyy) I like how it turned out, it's very cute :)

Flashing colours warning

Veerry WIP thing I'm making... Basically I'm using the only finished animations I have so far as placeholder assets in my project, I will replace them with the rest of the animations when those r done... Doing this so I can get the timing down. Next up I gotta finish the other animations, fix the layering and also probably pick an aesthetic for the BG...

I told myself I would draw Mega Malamar with Syphus (My OC) when the design gets revealed... So here I am a few days late askljdsdjflkjsfd

Uhmm honestly kinda do not like how I drew Malamar, I am so sorry Malamar fandom I did not do it justice... Had to guess the shiny colours on the mega so they're a bit muddy SOBBING

Experimented a bit with rendering too, so that was fun even if it looks a bit off... But hey that's usually how trying new stuff goes :P

Ok time for some bonus stuff!

First off, for anyone confused on my OCs, this artwork is based on a Pokemon AU I made for them where they have teams! Not much else has gone into the AU as of now. Syphus's partner Pokemon was a Malamar, so this mega reveal means now he has a mega on his team.

His design was also adjusted to fit a bit better into the Pokemon world. Now he has an eyepatch instead of a unique eye since that eye doesn't really work in a Pokemon setting. Also removed his glasses, I was considering giving him a monocle but I forgor to draw it in 😭and the design doesn't rlly need it

I made a little Pokemon team template and went wild hehe I would explain the reasonings for teams, but I don't wanna make this post too long so if you're interested, I wrote more in depth about it here!! Here's the template if you're interested! I included a default one, and a version with a transparent bg that's easier to customize the colours of :P If you want to use the template, I'd appreciate if you credited me (i.e., "Inspired by speevtheteev" or "template by speevtheteev") but I'm not too bothered if you forget/don't credit me!
