This movie has been on my mind for a while now and I have a lot to say. How can they take the concept of a group of formerly enslaved Black folks from the 1860s who became immortal via the power of hoodoo/voodoo and turned them into the main villains. Like wtf were they thinking. These people build a community in the middle of nowhere and lived there undisturbed for over 130 years and no one noticed.
What was the reason for them to terrorize and sacrifice a Black family? When I say I'm tired of yall (white folks) making hoodoo/voodoo horror movies/shows, this is why and I'm over it. I don't even know how to fix this to make it sound better.
