...why does no one ever talk about the existence of spell cards/spell decks???

They’re essentially a spell book that’s been condensed to fit on a deck of cards and I think it’s brilliant! Obviously having proper spell books and research materials is important, but I can’t always read through a lot of books to find a spell I can do so I almost never do spell work (adhd and depression are a lethal combination sometimes), but if it was a deck of simple spells that I could draw from randomly to get used to doing a spell every day? I’d do so many more spells!

Also, I can make my own! With index cards! Just write down spells I want to try or spell concepts I want to flesh out on index cards, leave space for notes about substitutions/correspondences/why certain ingredients are used, and then I can draw one to try and if it works, I keep it and it goes into the grimoire I’ll put together! (I don’t have one yet because again, adhd makes things difficult and I possibly have ocd so I want everything organized and pretty but I’m unwilling to do that when I don’t have all the information I want in it yet)

Like??? Did everyone else know about these? I think they’re so smart!
