it HAS been a while i am. exhausted hfhfbfuj how is it only monday :( i have three tests this week (maybe more? not completely sure? hopefully not tho), i have a big project in one of my classes, i had play auditions today, i probably have callbacks later this week... please i just want to pass out for a month. other than that though i am actually pretty alright! lil nervous abt the play bc auditions were today and they might have to make cuts and i am not feeling particularly good abt how i did? its not that i think i did bad i just did not come out of that feeling as good abt it as i couldve so. rly hoping that goes okay, i didnt do theater in the fall bc Life and it smth that means a lot to me. like. it gives me an actual social life and something to do with myself and i just enjoy it a lot and it pushes me out of my comfort zone but in a good way and also it is a Verified Fact that theater kids are some of the best (and gayest) people you will ever meet.
mhm mhm so that is my tired ramble! probably abt to go to sleep now (me? going to bed at a semi reasonable hour? unheard of :O), how have you been?

well, folks, this concludes our pride month requests! i do have one more (not a request, just something i'm doing for myself) that should be up... sometime next month bc i am sick :') i'll probably have a post with all the requests i did up in a few, but in the meantime thank you to the people who requested things, and i'm sorry the quality was less than i'm sure we both would've liked :) lastly, just a reminder that while i did do requests for pride month, requests are always open! please don't hesitate to send me some!!

i do!! :D and then i get sad when they dont cronch lol, and omg we should!! you would beat me but it'd be so fun yesss, and ooh fun fact!! okay so my friend sent me a picture of a leaf sheep which is actually a type of sea slug (look it up theyre so cute) and i went down a research rabbit hole because leaf sheep are so much cooler than my math homework. here's some things i learned!! under the cut bc Information Overload >:D
leaf sheep only grow to a max of 1 cm in length
they live in shallow waters with large amounts of algae/sea plants and are usually found around Japan, Indonesia, and the Phillipines
they eat algae and phytoplankton but they can also photosynthesize! :O
their ability to photosynthesize is called kleptoplasty (from greek, klepto means thief and plasti like chloroplast)
so basically, kleptoplasty means that the leaf sheep steal the chloroplasts from algae when they eat, letting them photosynthesize. cool!!
they can survive off the energy from photosynthesis for months without needing solid food
they have rhinophores which are little antennae-like things on their faces that they use to smell out algae
so i also learned that apparently to reproduce some sea slugs mate by "penis fencing" which is where the slugs involved are neither male nor female and so they fight to get the other one pregnant so they don't have to deal with laying the eggs. enby rights, i guess?
and then also some sea slugs reproduce asexually and some can do both and only reproduce asexually if they need to bc ~biodiversity~
leaf sheep are part of the group "apistobranchia" and are "hermaphrodites" and i have to figure out exactly what those mean (shhh i'm lazy i'll do it in a sec) but basically that means they probably reproduce using both of the methods listed above, from what i've gathered
