Early Silly Halloween Headcanons
Every Halloween, the og team plans a heist at the firehouse. It all began with a bet and Peter’s watch. It became a tradition carried by the hq employees, field team members, lab interns, the og team and their families, etc.
The Spenglers and the Stantzes have a friendly competition with decorating their houses for Halloween. It gets over the top on theming pretty quickly.
Egon and Janine always plan out their theme for their costumes. One of those times that they go all out in style!
Ngl I can imagine Egon and Ray start a lab internship program at ghostbusters hq. Students from Columbia, NYU and any college within the city can apply and commute from campus to ghostbusters hq via the subway.
Notable lab interns during the early 90s /00s/ 10s
Lydia Deetz - psych major from Columbia, also part time worked at Ray’s Occult Bookstore, and she’s psychic like Janine
Daniel Jensen - physics major from NYU, interests in studying mushrooms and space, later on became Egon’s son in law
Lars Pinefield - the TA in Egon’s mycology class, and later on head researcher on tech and the paranormal, later is welcomed in to the Spengler-Melnitz family as the nephew in law
