50-70 years before the main plot, Racism was biggest with skintones. Now it’s by blood color.

The term “Veniz” was originally slang for a half of any kind in to be scum. In recent years the term Veniz was taken by the halfs and was used as an official term. Making the bad term become a good one.

There’s a difference between sea creatures and Aquatin (sea citizens). Some people don’t always know or understand and quite often misunderstandings can happen.

Religions vary from country to country. Majority of the Religions also accept their lgbqt+ community.

Undercities are part of the sea country.

The term Emperor is used for someone who actually rules their country vs King is now just a term for a representative ruler.

The term “Lord” or “Lord of” is used regardless of gender. It’s a traditional title typically used for the elected or inherited position of a national position as leader of a group of a magic group.

Magic is not directly called ‘magic’ in Bezeyyn. It’s called Mehla due to it being an element on the periodic chart of Bezeyyn. It is a type of gem or rock that grows at a fast rate and is mined in select countries to become a power for the world.

Natural Mehla is a type of chemical that is in the body. It’s made from a gland in the body that is either active or inactive. Active Mehla users often have a special ability that puts them in a group of Scorce, Healer, or Moarter.

Honestly with Trump becoming president, I told my Chinese Grandparents that I loved them and to watch themselves. They live in a white neighborhood. And even though they probably will be safe, I still am really really scared for them.

So

I was planning on drawing all of my characters and with their pride flag worn on them (most of them are still in the rough, so not all of them are confirmed)

Mostly because If people wanted to ask me questions about them, I can answer them easier.

But my tablet ain’t working again.

I’m getting real fed up with Wacom now.

But I can’t afford a new tablet yet.

So yeah.

You’ll see the rest of the characters (like 70+ of them) eventually.

Honestly have to say, for advice for future writers/artists

Don’t listen to people too much. You can totally listen, but don’t follow.

When I first started writing it was only adventure stuff, but I never did anything. I haven’t even finished the 7 fanfictions I had done (sorry to those who actually read the stupid things).

When I finally decided to start writing again, I wanted to write horror, which is one of my favourite genres.

Unfortunately I could never get the whole concept of “horror”.

So my first “horror” short story became a murder mystery that was based off a friend’s novel (which I’m actually going to draw because I’m really proud of it, just with my characters instead, sorry @northerntransylvania).

I tried writing a bunch more with a similar taste in mind, but could never achieve that same feeling of accomplishing something.

So I started making a whole new world. It was from a combination of boredom and the only actual writing ability that I’m really good at is world building.

From that I made characters.

And then I started writing

and researching

and making concept art

and continuing the world building.

Eventually I had a novel (It’s almost 300 pages long, which I’m kinda surprised about).

It was a Mystery novel.

I was really ecstatic (I still am) about it and started talking to everyone I know about it.

Unfortunately, me doing all the research I had done on autopsies, serial killers, psychology, police, the underground, the darkweb, you just about name it I probably researched that shit; I got to know a lot of messed up things. 

So when I had told people I had made a mystery novel (mind you, I didn’t even say I made a murder mystery), they were horrified.

They thought it was evil and that was tainted.

I surprisingly wasn’t upset, I was more angry and mad than anything? Mostly because a lot of them were once my really close friends and they had said they didn’t like it.

But you know, I had written in almost every Genre possible, every style that I could think of, but I could never get my drift until I wrote in Mystery.

I might not be as accurate as a real mystery writer, nor will I ever be as famous as some people.

But I write because I enjoy it, not because it’s something that other’s think is cool or horrifying.

Don’t listen to the people who discourage you for who you are or what you love. 

Keep going no matter what.
