♡ Fire Mummy ♡
This track can be heard any time you set the Mummy on fire during the Uruk Castle segments of the game.
Hell yeah! This track is fire. I love how high energy and fast pace this song is. It’s intense enough to make you feel a little bit of pressure but not enough to cause anxiety. Which is perfect for where this track is used (the Fire Mummy ability often is timed so it works really well for that). I highly recommend giving this one a listen. It’s genuinely a bop.
Monster of the Week:
♡ The Squirt ♡
Aw! How cute! It’s a little Squirt! Come here little fella, I won’t hurt you!
The squirt is a docile creature that is often farmed for their magical abilities. They are very shy and easily frightened, so best to be slow and quiet when approaching them, lest you give the poor things a heart attack! These little critters can’t be captured with capture beetles so it’s best just to leave them alone. If you would like to learn more about the Squirt, please check out the WIKI!

Character of the Week:
♡ Sphinx ♡
Who doesn’t love Sphinx? The titular character of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy!
For those who haven’t played Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, Sphinx is a headstrong young hero and the main protagonist of the game that carries his name. The game starts with Sphinx being sent on an adventure to find the Blade of Osiris, once the blade is obtained he is tasked with saving Prince Tutankhamen. Who has had his soul stolen by evil forces, Sphinx eventually finds himself in more trouble than originally anticipated and he comes to learn that he must save the world in order to save the Prince. Sphinx is a silent protagonist on par with other game characters like Link from The Legend of Zelda series. However he has quite the personality of his own, as shown through his rather cocky facial animations. His appearance is quite lion-like, sporting four lion-like toes and claws on his feet, a cat-like nose and of course, a beautiful lion tail. In all honesty, who doesn’t like a cute cat-boy? Especially when paired with his iconic cheeky smile and big brown eyes!

Character of the Week:
♡ Anubis ♡
The hound of Osiris, the magnificent God of Death, Anubis!
If you haven’t played Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, let me fill you in! Anubis is the God of Death who you meet in the land of Heliopolis! Upon first meeting him he tasks you with capturing several monsters to prove your worth. Once you succeed he will give you several Cursed Stones to free several inhabitants of the Cursed Palace. Anubis is the one who Cursed those in the Palace of Heliopolis, but he did it for a good reason. He is the one who must shoulder the heavy burden of protecting Osiris in his time of need. He is also the one who created the Great Wall that spans across Heliopolis, and presumably, the entire width of Uruk, keeping the dark chaos from spreading upon the land of Egypt further. Anubis is quite the prankster and show off. Upon first meeting him, he goads Sphinx into walking over a pool of boiling lava. Sphinx fulfils Anubis’s request (I mean I wouldn’t but good on you for being brave Sphinx) where he successfully manages to walk mid-air, unharmed, thanks to the power of Anubis keeping him aloft. He then proceeds to gloat about how that is only a fraction of his power.
Anubis is quite popular among the game's fans, often being depicted as quite the cheeky prankster, with a good heart.

♡ The Goofy Lizard ♡
Ah, the much beloved Goofy Lizard! Hero of the Sphinx Community Discord!
This sweet little critter is beloved by many fans of Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy! You first encounter this sweet thing in Abydos Canal, where some nameless jerkface is mad about having adopted the cute little baby! You learn he only did so in hopes of teaching it tricks to “impress” his girlfriend. When the Lizard wouldn’t do as he commanded, he came to regret his purchase. He will trade the Lizard away for some dumb game metal’s you earn through playing various mini-games in Abydos.
