have a sunday doodle of the twins, but this time: sphinx-ified! plus some rambling ndiksfsd

in the au, i know i made them human/human-adjacent, but i feel like if they Were monsters, they’d be purebred sphinxes, meaning things like:

they can actually fly w/ their wings (or at least, it makes more sense that they can bcuz they’re bigger)

their human forms retain more sphinx traits such as altered legs and feet, tails, wings, etc.

they’re a bit more restricted in terms of movement while in sphinx form (meaning they can’t do the weird sht wilford does jidosdf)

and other small things like amplified magic abilities

would it be a faux paw (snrk) perhaps,, if the d/a held damien's tail oh so gently?

(hAH-) not at all! i feel like damien would trust the d.a to hold his tail, as it technically is hand-holding like i said, just on a more subtle scale

and since my hands don't wanna cooperate, have this:

imagine young, college damien and d.a., both are tired as hell as they’re sitting back to back, hunched over their textbooks trying to study their asses off. damien can see how tired and frustrated the d.a is but doesn’t want to bother them, so he instead slowly takes his tail and sort of places it by the d.a’s hand; a subtle way of saying ‘it’s okay, i’m here’ in a way he knows how.

the d.a (probably ready to burst into tears from frustration) gently takes his tail tuft in their hands as a silent way of saying thank you. damien lets them play with it to calm down while he focuses on reading, finding the action soothing (he’s not gonna say that tho jfdisosdf)
