Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup molasses. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. 1 1/2 cups vanilla chips.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the molasses and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the vanilla chips. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
