The Sneak
“Earthroot shoots.” It was certainly not vulgar enough to be considered a curse, yet she used it in such a way all the same. One large, bat-like ear popped up above the bush the strange being was in. A tattered remnant popped up beside, much shorter than the other due to its torn nature. In comical fashion, the ears turned this way and that before delving back into the bush. The Vale was certainly not her usual home. She knew what dangers lurked. She’d heard of a fearsome tribe that resided within Zul’Gurub. She had a healthy respect for powerful tribes - and her own life, and thus she kept to the southern parts.
A few ‘oofs’ and ‘oops’ muttered from the bush. Once more, those ears lifted up above the large bush the being was in. They turned this way and that before submerging into the flora once more. A giddy little hum followed. Dusky purple fingers pried open the bush. One stark white and one amber eye became visible as the being poked her head out through the branches and leaves. She was a visibly odd specimen of Kaldorei, with one eye blinded and one ear all torn. Not to mention how she seemed to be so small and short for an elf of mature age. Slowly she leaned back, white hair enveloped first by the shadows. Her fingers relented from the branches. This resulted in a sharp THWACK and a yelped ‘ouch!’ from the Night Elf within.
Damaged pride, yet that would recover. Once she nursed it from within the shrubbery.

“Somewhere along the way you forgot who we were.” “I know. I’m sorry.”
