This flavorful and quick stir-fried dish of spicy beef and broccoli with spiralized peppers and onions is ideal for a weeknight supper. It's a family favorite because of the tender beef, crunchy veggies, and hot sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb thinly sliced beef. 2 cups broccoli florets. 2 bell peppers, spiralized. 1 large onion, spiralized. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce. 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce. 1 teaspoon ginger, grated. 1 teaspoon cornstarch. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked rice for serving.
Instructions: Combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha sauce, oyster sauce, ginger, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Put aside. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat. Stir-fry the minced garlic for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Stir-fry the thinly sliced beef for two to three minutes, or until browned. Take out and place aside from the skillet. Broccoli florets should be stir-fried in the same skillet for two to three minutes, or until they start to soften. Add more oil if necessary. Stir-fry the onions and spiralized peppers for a further two to three minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender. Place the cooked steak back into the skillet and cover everything with the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for an additional two minutes, or until the sauce gets thicker and evenly coats the ingredients. To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. Over cooked rice, serve the spicy stir-fried beef and broccoli. If you want it hotter, add more Sriracha sauce as a garnish. Savor your mouthwatering stir-fry!
