Enjoy the spicy and creamy tastes of a jalapeno popper with a classic grilled cheeseburger. This burger has just the right amount of heat and comfort.
Ingredients: 4 burger patties. 4 hamburger buns. 8 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 jalapeno peppers, sliced. 4 oz cream cheese, softened. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapenos. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup butter, melted. 1 tsp garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for grilling.
Instructions: Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle over medium-high heat. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, chopped pickled jalapenos, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined to make the jalapeno popper spread. Grill the burger patties to your desired doneness, adding a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty during the last minute of cooking. While the burgers are cooking, brush the inside of the hamburger buns with melted butter and toast them on the grill until lightly browned. Spread the jalapeno popper spread on the bottom bun, then place a grilled burger patty with melted cheddar on top. Add a few slices of fresh jalapeno peppers on top of the burger patty. Top with the other half of the bun and press gently to assemble the burger. Serve hot and enjoy your Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Burger!
