Entry 1

It was 8 O' clock, worst time of the average school day. Waking up is only such a challenge because I can't sleep, no matter what I try. Occasionally I would sneak the odd horse tranquilliser which comes as an easy access perk to me for I live on a farm. 

     Suddenly, Spider-Sam. Sorry I'm a horrible writer, don't blame me I was bullied it's not my fault. I tried but I can't even. Please, stop reading. Go on with your pitiful me-less life.

Sneak Peek :3

Boy Falls From the Sky chapter one sneak peek:

First off, this is merely based off of Spider-Man. There's going to be tons of changes to make it more original/make it flow better. Arachne, I am aware, is actually the second version of Spiderwoman, Julia Carpenter's, name. However, Arachne is also a Greek myth and I plan on using that version mainly in this story. I also plan on using Arachne as a sort of guide for Sam. Because he sure as hell needs one.

From the first version of the Spider-Man broadway, Arachne is a spider goddess who gives Peter his suit and his gifts (being the spider that bit him). This is the basic idea I will use. :3

Boy Falls From the Sky by Reese Larkin

Gently and carefully, she weaved a web. Spinning and twirling as she went, it formed a maze of silvery lines connecting in an intricate pattern. Setting her body at the center, she stretched her long legs. Her glowing eyes, beady and small, observed the world below. From her silk-spun home that hid in a crook on the edge of the tallest building looking down on the entire town of Lima, Ohio, she watched. The streets were as bustling as could be in this quiet little town. 

From her self-made perch, Arachne looked down on Lima with pitty and sorrow. Why was this spider so sympathetic all of a sudden? It was simple. Despite that normal, light hearted atmosphere that was set upon the residents of the town, smiling and greeting one another--despite all of that, there was an edge to the atmosphere, one that only this all knowing spider could sense. 

Arachne knew that something was coming, something dark and terrifying. Something this small town would not see coming and would not be able to rise from.

Dark clouds were looming over Lima, and only Arachne was aware. Sitting on her web,  Arachne knew that it would be up to her to offer this town some hope.

Lima, Ohio would need a hero. Someone extraordinary would have to stand up for the small town when those dark clouds settled. 

But who would have thought that that someone 'extraordinary' would be none other than the 'ultra-ordinary' Sam Evans...?

...Okay, not that exciting, I know, and I'm shit at writing, but it's the start/introduction. Might be a bit confusing too... Blah, whatever. The complete first chapter is currently in a self edit phase and then it will be handed over to my Betas and then it shall go through more edits and then be posted up here. :3
