I guess this is what they call a ‘hostile workplace’. - Peter
“kid, you’ve been working in a hostile workplace ever since you got this gig - we literally fight for a living. just because i’m not happy as larry doesn’t make this any more hostile. i’m just - understandably, i would think - stressed out about the fact that we are in danger. always.”
Nice entrance. That was a solid 8 out of 10. - Carol
jessica laughs, then throws her friend a wink. “oh, i’m always good at finding a way in, love. i prefer subtlety to just breaking the door down, unlike some people i know.”
Anthurium
Anthurium - Was your muse’s childhood characterized by abundance or scarcity (in needs, affection, friends, etc)? How does it play into your muse’s present behavior?
Miles’ family wasn’t exactly rich but he wasn’t left wanting, either. His parents were good at teaching him not to want extravagantly but it’s not like they were poor either. He has a loving family, though - his mother’s always been loving and caring as has his father, even if he’s always been hard on Miles. He always had an abundance of friends wherever he went, found it easy to connect to people and surround himself with people. It makes it easy for him to connect to people, both as himself and as Spider-Man, now, and it fed into him wanting to do good, to do the right thing, even if it took him a little time to warm up to the life of a vigilante.
Arum
Arum - Has your muse ever been religious? Are they now? Can they be swayed into a faith?
I definitely don’t write this enough but Steve is religious! He’s Catholic, his parents were Irish Immigrants who were both Catholic and he was raised with that faith, he probably isn’t quite as religious as he might’ve been when he was younger but it’s definitely still with him.
