Story time! Here is a small cave at the Torrent Falls property in Slade, Kentucky, where we stayed. When I found this I was beyond excited to explore it! Jesse and I ventured in with only the flashlights on our phones. We found lots of graffiti, which is completely disrespectful I might add! I was eager to look into every crack of this tiny cave. I pointed my light above my head into a deep crevice. There I found a large beautiful black spider whom had made a home there. Beyond facinated, I began to emcourage Jesse to come enjoy this beautiful sight. He immediately interjected with one word, "NOPE", and ran out, leaving me behind! I continued to scan the rock face above my head, and found there were hundreds, maybe thousands, more large black spiders blanketing the caves ceiling. The cieling that was only a couple feet above my head. I calmly but swiftly retreated. I am not affraid of spiders, but I am not comfortable be surrounded by them.
