Benjamin sat on the edge of his bed, pushing his fingers through his light brown hair. He fixed his emerald hues on the floor. What was he doing? He wasn’t some kind of hero, was he? He was the son of one. That wasn’t the same thing. His father, however, believed differently and he was never one to let his dad down.
He slid off his bed and went to the closet, reaching into the back and grabbing a black spandex suit from a hidden panel. His dad told him it was best to have place to put it so it wasn’t so easy to find, just in case. As he got dressed, he thought about all of the training he had gone through to get to where he was now. Training and actually doing the damn thing, he thought, were very different things. His dad assured him he was ready. Ben wasn’t so sure.
Lastly, he placed on his mask and walked out into the living room. His mom gave him a kiss on the cheek, whispering words of encouragement to him. He grinned and nodded, though the words didn’t entirely register due to his nervousness. He glanced up at his father, setting his jaw in an attempt to look composed. “I’m ready.”

Alison sighed, shaking her head as she looked up at the building. She’d lived in New York almost her whole life, and she was still so hopeless with directions some times. She stopped the person nearest to her, biting her lower lip. “Excuse me? Could you help me?”
Does anyone else think about what Peter played in marching band before he quit? Or is it just me?
