This is post one of three posts. To see all of these posts see #epjspidergrandmotherring The first time I heard about Spider Grandmother was when I was a little child. I used to have this reoccurring dream most every single night. Sometimes it would halt for months in some far away place; or so it seemed. Then showing me it was just under the blanket awaiting my slumber; propelling back into my dreams like a nail driven by a hammer. When I was at my Grandmother’s house I would end up going to her room in the middle of the night, or some ungodly hour, asking if I could sleep with her. One night I was happily snuggled in her huge bed, as vast as the plains, it seemed to have no edges. Unlike my bed that seemed to have a drop off cliff at ever turn. Surrounded by the shadows of plants, large statues of goddesses, cut locks of hair held in braids by rubber bands, and sheer curtains and material that drapped across the walls. The shadows seemed scary but only to something else not me. Like I could stand behind them and they would protect me. They were the guardians to my sleep. Happily ready to go back to bed, because I believed the dream could not find me in the magical room, my Grandmother rolled over and said to me, ‘She has come.’ • #rotd #spider #spiderrings #epj #spiderring #witchy #grandmother #spidergrandmother #naturalnails #serpent #snake #ringsOfTheday #evilpawnjewelry #midi #midirings #AdornYourselfInMetal
