ugh today while i was looking for snails i found a black widow in my garden, and it’s still freaking me out. i mean, not because i’m scared of spiders. i’m not usually bothered by them, and i know that one's dead now because i killed it with a stick, but i’m still worried because what if there are more of them? my cats love hanging out in the garden. it freaks me out thinking that thing could’ve bitten one of my cats, that there could be more of them out there that could hurt my cats.

it’s bad enough worrying about brown recluses that could be inside the house, but having to worry about black widows that might be outside too? it’s too much.
