the minecraft post about my dad is genuinely the best post i've ever had take off bc now ~50k people know my late father as things like "adorable" and "hilarious" and "protects kids and arachnophobes" and honestly i could not ask for a better summary. of course he was a lot of things but by far, definitely, those are literally some of the things i loved most about him.

he was NEVER mean to me about my arachnophobia, from my childhood all the way to my teens and 20s when we both realized it wasn't gonna 'go away'. no matter how tiny the spider was or how busy he was when i asked for help, he always got up and dealt with it for me.

i'm so glad those things get to shine on in a silly post i made about an old story. :')

christ i better get good karma for putting that giant crab spider that was scuttling next to my bed outside instead of flattening it. horrifying.

i was concerned yesterday because the big bathroom spider was no longer in her ceiling corner and i couldn’t see her anywhere else 

but this morning i went in and it turns out she seized the smaller spider’s corner and forced him out of his own home… he was hanging out a foot or two away. poor guy

i woke up at 3am and i was gonna go back to sleep but im like so hungry i made myself a sandwich and i was gonna sit in bed and listen to mbmbam and eat it but its really hard to listen to mbmbam at 4am and eat a sandwich on your bed when its pitch black so i put in my contacts and now i am at the computer w a cup of coffee ALSO i was in the bathroom and a very large spider-questionably-roach ran at me full speed and i had to jump over it it was a terrifying experience whats up everyone
