My youngest sister is making this blanket for her youngest but is having trouble with the pattern. She asked for my help so I'm rewriting the pattern so it's easier for her to understand and also adding instructions for additional rounds (after #16 it's like "repeat the sections increasing where necessary". Not helpful!)
I don't math well so had to do a mockup of one section so I'd have the correct counts, lol.
