May I request a doctor!Tom au where he's the doctor at the ER and a patient was rushed in due to like a car accident or something and the patient turns out to be his s/o? Tysm!!💖 Keep shining!!💫

It wasn’t a particularly busy day in the ER tonight. There’s mostly just been people with dehydration and some with an infection or kidney stones but nothing major. Not until halfway through the night when a trauma is called in. Nurses and doctors rush to the ambulance bay to meet the ambulance, preparing for the worst but also buzzing, ready to help to save a life.

The ambulance arrives in less than five minutes and the paramedics are rushing the gurney with the patient to the nurses and doctors, telling stats and how they ended up in this situation. They all quickly take over, rushing the patient to one of the trauma rooms and paging Tom to come help, they’re going to need more hands than expected.

Once Tom hears his pager go off, he’s jumping from the on-call bed and rushing to the ER, his blood already pumping with adrenaline. He loves trauma. There’s a thrill with the unexpected and seeing everything and anything that can happen and then saving the expected. Sure, there are the “boring” cases but the big traumas that come in? It’s incredible so Tom is ready to start working and helping the second he reaches the trauma room.

“What’d we have?” Tom asks, gloving his hands once he’s inside the room.

“Car accident, head on with a semi-trailer. Broken leg, broke arm, broken clavicle,” One of the nurses starts listing things off as Tom makes his way to the head of the patient, minding the other people in the room. “Internal–”

“Y/n?” Tom cuts the nurse off with the whispered tone once he finally gets a look at the patient’s face.

The others in the room pause to look at him and tears are swelling as he looks at your bloodied face, eyes closed and tube sticking out of your mouth. Tom’s introduced you to a few people he’s worked with before but the few people you met aren’t working with him tonight or weren’t called in to help. Everyone else just knows your name and the good things Tom’s had to say about you so the second they hear your name, it’s silent alarms.

“Y/n, hey, can you h-hear me?” Tom chokes out, bowing his face closer to yours.

“Holland, let us–”

“No!” Tom snaps, head shooting up, his eyes already rimmed red. “They’re my partner and ‘m gonna take care of them.”

“You can’t work on them, you know that.” One of the nurses says as she tries to move Tom away while one of the residents is paging another doctor to take Tom’s place.

Tom yanks his arms away, shaking his head while his chest heaves and the monitor starts to beep rapidly. And he gives up because he knows that he can’t work with blurred vision or blurred thoughts. He moves and stands by the window, saying he won’t leave the room and the others get to work.

This is what he does. This, trauma, has always been his dream job but he never imagined the person he loves to be the person brought in. And now, he’s helpless.

Hey girl!

Okay, so you’d be trying to figure out what to do for your next chapter, and usually you’d be able to flow along with the story line you planned out.

Sadly, like most authors, you completely forgot what you were going to do for the next part. Plus, to top it all off, your laptop didn’t fully save the ending to the chapter you had finished only 2 days ago.

Needless to say, you were sulking as you sat on the bed with your laptop on your lap, countless papers scattered around you that contained information on your novel you had jotted down over the last 10 months.

When Tom came in and told you dinner was ready, he realized you were too zoned out in your writing space, except you weren’t doing as much writing as you were staring at your laptop screen in sadness/pain.

Tom knew better than to disturb you while writing, but you had been at this state for almost 5 hours. Staring at the screen, trying to remember what you wrote last and typing it down before completely starting the paragraph all over again.

Tom walked over, moving some papers so that he could sit on the side of the bed. “You ready to come and eat, love?”

You shook your head, sighing. “No, I can’t until I re-finish this chapter.” You went back to looking through the papers on the bed.

“Didn’t you finish it earlier this week?”

“Yes, but my damn laptop didn’t save it all.”

Tom felt bad, wanting to able to help in some way, but in the end knew that he really couldn’t do anything. “Why don’t you come have dinner and you can try and finish it before we go to bed?”

He may not always have the best ideas, but he was always 100% supportive of your and the career you’ve chosen for yourself. Being an author, and a world wide seller at that, is incredibly hard. It takes a lot of time, money, and most of all, patience. But Tom was willing to help you and be with you throughout all of it.

You shook your head, starting to type away again at the laptop. “No, Tom, I’m sorry but I only have 3 weeks to finish the minimum of chapters for my meeting with the publishing company, and even then it’s a very small chance for them to call me back for a meeting with a full novel ready for them. I need to finish this.”

Tom knew he was going to regret his next actions, but he also knew he had no choice. He reached over and quickly grabbed your laptop and walked out of the room.

“Tom! What the fuck?!”

You went after him, but by the time you found him, he had locked your laptop in the bathroom closet.

“Tom, seriously, I need to finish the chapter. I’m not going to meet the deadline if I don’t.”

You went to try and unlock the door, but Tom had beat you to it and grabbed both of your wrists and pulling you close to him.

“(Y/N), you know I love you and what you’ve decided to do for a living, but you need to learn to pace yourself. Do you think I got to where I am now by constantly worrying about a single audition that could only maybe give me a callback? You have 3 weeks to work on what, 10 chapters, right?”

You nodded.

“You’re on the end of chapter 7, I remember reading it for you. And I remember that once you read over it with me, you found out how you wanted the chapter to end and what you were going to do for the next one. I believe in you and your writing, and if the company doesn’t like it, then they can fuck off and they’ll miss out on all the money they could have made based off your book.”

You couldn’t help but giggle and tear up at his words. He pulled you into a hug and kissed your forehead. “Now, how about you come join me for dinner, we can watch an episode of one of the shows we’re watching, then while I make some desert, you can finish up the chapter and work on some more later?”

And you guys did just that. You had never felt more relaxed and at peace than you did when you were with Tom.

After all, even though you were an aspiring author, you always believed that actions spoke louder than words.

hiiii can I tell you something about my day? So I was required (for my subject notebook) to like put our fave artist' face on it but without printing it so I literally have to find a notebook with Tom's face in it. Any advice as to what I should do? Tysssmmmm!!!

Yes of course you can! And okay firstly that sounds like an awesome task and secondly I definitely reccomend looking on Redbubble! It can be a bit pricey but they have tons of things related to everything and I just looked and they have a tom Holland notebook and I’m ngl even I want it now 😂

okay so remember the tom holland notebook I'd be doing for school? I have 3 plans for it and tomorrow's the submission date. So Plan A is that it'll be completely DIY like i'll be the one to edit the picture and print it Plan B- is I'll just buy a spiderman writing notebook and then Plan C- pay someone to do it. And I'm honestly stressed out right now HHAHA since I went with all and I'm probably wasting money I don't have but for school HAHA

Okay so the way I see it plan A seems like it will take the most time but could be fun if you like DIY stuff and it will be most geniuine, plan B is smart becuase technically it could be Tom Holland but also cause Spider-Man is amazing alone 😂 and plan c will probably cost the most but it will still look cool.

Don’t stress you’ll be fine! At least you’ve got an idea and plans because some people don’t even usually get to that stage and end up doing it last minute! And also you’re talking to the expert of wasting money that i don’t have 😂 so I completely get the panic but take a deep breath and think of what looks best and what matches the assignment and you’ll be okay.
