Mixed by our dear Alican, the 11-track compilation ranges from the futuristic oriental -Jaen Paniagua's track, named 'Udon', no less- to the old-school popping on Fadel's 'Elle', stopping in at Alican's own pinball-gone-mad creation of 'Machineself’; and Martin Eyerer and Marcelo Roselot's instantly classic bassline on 'The Catwalk'. The release is completed by choice selections of work by the likes of False Image, Mario Aureo & Spieltape, Thomas Gandey & Darick György, Aaaron, Tom Peters, Stefano Ritteri and Deepchild and, of course, a special mix by Alican featuring all the tracks. 2015, here we come!

Alexander Malyutin, aka Spieltape, is a Russian DJ/Producer who started out some years ago and who’s making some great strides at the moment. He has released numerous tracks and remixes on imprints like Global Underground, Moodmusic and Alive Recordings. Many tracks have been supported by names like Nick Warren, Pleasurekraft, Solee, Tapesh and Marc Romboy to name a few. Over the past few years Alexander has collaborated with Aki Bergen, Hermanez, Tapesh & Maximiljan, DZeta N’ Basile and others, while simultaneously his tracks were included in various compilations by the likes of Nick Warren and Solee. His latest endeavor is a fruitful collaboration with Italian producer S!lk on the Highway Records release ‘My Heart EP’, featuring some outstanding remixes by Inxec and Dale Howard as well. His musical style is modernistic, with warm, deep and dark undertones, every now and then mixing it up with some Eastern influences, like he does on Back for Moar. So sit back and relax, and let yourself be introduced to the musical style of one of Russia’s most promising new artists.
