[there's a lot I'm so sorry for that] Lore/Hcs: — Before obtaining the Icedagger, the King overall was a kind ruler, usually spending most of his time with both his knights and subjects — When he first started hearing the voices, he slowly started to grow reserved from what they were telling him, making him paranoid — Due to the paranoia, it's when he started to become the cruel King that he would later known as, though mainly towards his own knights at first — He did try and do what he could that he thought would "save" Blackrock, even though his kingdom never needed any saving in the first place. The King was fully convinced by the voices that it would inevitable fall if he didn't take any action — The more paranoid the King grew, the more reserved he became, usually only staying inside of his throne room and refusing to see most people, though this only worsened the voices — Once obtaining the Icedagger, everything he was experiencing prior grew so much worse, to the point it was unbearable for him — Now with the power of the Icedagger, he became the ruthless ruler he was known for, a complete opposite to what he once was — Not only the personality change was one of the effects of the dagger, but also his memory, slowly losing his own memories over time, forgetting who he was before any of this —Ice as well had also slowly started to appear on him, starting off as just frost, but would grow into glaciers, coving most of half of his body — In his mind, he believed that he was in the right, that he was only just protecting his kingdom from it's downfall, no matter how ruthless he had to be just to prevent that — The only people he would listen to during this was only the voices that constantly bothered him, them feeding into his fear and paranoia, guiding his actions — Before the player arrived, he had the Icedagger in his possession for a coupe of years at this point, he was a complete husk of who he once was — After being defeated by the player, he became greatly ill from the loss of the Icedagger, falling in a somewhat coma-like state — In this state, he only dreamt one thing; facing the player in battle just like how he did in the throne room, though now in a constant loop (pretty much Nirvana in game) — After waking up from this state, he was still ill, but well enough to continue ruling Blackrock — Over time, his personality shifted back slowly to what it was like before any of this, returning back to the kind King he was — Even though he no longer had the Icedagger, the voices never left him, but they had died down, only hearing them from time to time — He still stays mostly in his throne room, somewhat afraid to face his subjects again after everything he had put them through — Realizing that his kingdom had only referred to him as "Cruel King" throughout all of this (and seeing that he could no longer remember his own name), he just stuck with being called that. To him, it felt like more of a hassle to go through with a proper name — Though now he is somewhat back to what he was, his physical appearance and damage to his mind are permanent reminders of what he had done — He still believes that he was in the right of going out and obtaining the Icedagger to be able to protect his kingdom, though he does regret it as well — The ice that covers him never melts, no matter what temperature it is
