Design Week is just over!
The 2011 edition of the Salone del Mobile/FuoriSalone (April 12-17) has just come to an end here in Milan and I would like to share with you some of the events I attended.
The first event took place inside the Dolce&Gabbana concept store Spiga2 on the 13th of April (the same day I finished my Bocconi exams!)
"To Be Modern" is an installation that develops throughout the Spiga2 boutique. Working with simple elements such as wood and colour, Slovenian artist Jaša gradually composed a structure that grows throughout the space, expanding and exploring a sensation of infinity.
I loved the neon pink colour!

The second event took place on the 15th of April at Spazio CorsoComo9 where a design exhibition was organized in order to support the Japanese victims of the earthquake and tsunami of March 11.
Artists from all over the world got together and designed Japan-inspired charity boxes where those who took part in the event were kindly asked to leave a donation.
